In the dynamic and challenging corporate world, Build a Solid Team, able to adapt, and collaborating effectively is the key to achieving success. Program “LOST AT SEA” is a team building program based Experiential Learning which is designed to test the team's skills in dealing with situations of crisis and uncertainty, by using the theme of survival in the middle of the high seas. In this program, Participants will be faced with challenges that require cooperation, quick decision making, and adaptability to find solutions to complex problems.
This program aims to provide direct experience in managing conflict, work under pressure, and understand the importance of effective communication and coordination between team members in situations full of uncertainty.
Highlights Activities
- Opening Ceremony & Briefing
Participants are introduced to the theme “LOST AT SEA” and the purpose of the activity. The facilitator explains the flow of activities, game rules, and the challenges that will be faced. Each participant is divided into groups who will work together during the simulation.
- Challenges of Survival at Sea
Each team is faced with a situation where they are stranded at sea after a shipwreck. The team must use limited resources (for example, lifebuoy, such, peta, and other equipment) to survive and make important decisions about how to survive in the middle of the sea.
- Problem Solving Challenges: “Develop a Resolution Plan”
The team is given the task of solving the crisis problem, like making a makeshift boat, determine the destination location, dan memikirkan cara untuk bertahan hidup dalam jangka panjang di tengah laut. Peserta harus mendiskusikan berbagai ide dan membuat keputusan strategis secara kolaboratif.
- Navigation Challenges: “Finding the Nearest Island”
Teams were given maps and simple navigation tools to find nearby islands and plan their journey to the mainland. This challenge tests navigation skills, planning, dan kerja sama tim dalam menghadapi ketidakpastian.
- Problem Solving Challenges: “Overcoming the Crisis”
The team is faced with a deep crisis scenario, like a storm or famine. They had to find a quick solution, communicate well, and utilize existing resources to overcome the crisis.
- Final Challenge: “Return to the Mainland”
